Sol Jang Trio

“Music is my key to the secret garden, my way to go to heaven, my looking glass,” says South Korean pianist Sol Jang, based in the Netherlands. In her trio with Johannes Fend – bass and Max Hering – drums, she blends lyrical jazz, free improvisation, and rich harmonies into a dynamic and expressive sound. Influenced by global experiences, Jang’s music bridges tradition and innovation, telling stories of identity, movement, and transformation.
