So you want a booking agent?

Being a jazz artist doesn’t necessarily mean you have a network strong enough to book a decent tour yourself. So… you want to hear Danielle Oosterop tell about her everyday business of tour bookings and career management. As a jazz fan, Danielle Oosterop cut her teeth in the jazz biz working for pianist and composer Michiel Braam and his ensembles. Danielle did it all: booking, production, publicity, administration, and fund raising. This helped her build her network that led to her starting her own booking agency. Danielle Oosterop Music Management is working for the major names in improvised music: David Murray, Mats Gustafsson, The Thing, Fire! Orchestra, Paal Nilssen-Love, Gabriele Mitelli, Atomic, Nate Wooley, Martin Küchen Angles 9, Rodrigo Amado, Alexander von Schlippenbach, Julien Desprez, Globe Unity Orchestra, and many more. Danielle books tours for them mainly in Europe, but occasionally also in the US, Canada, and South America.
