Keynote Orange Jazz Days 2025

At the first edition of Orange Jazz Days in October 2025, dr. Loes Rusch, researcher at the Utrecht University, presented the initial results of her research on the Dutch jazz ecosystem. Rusch discussed the role of stakeholders – from educational institutions and venues to supporting organizations and musicians – and advocated for a rethink of how we define musicians and musical quality to ensure the future of Dutch jazz.
