Coming to you from the studios of the Concertzender / World of Jazz: Pocket Concerts. In this 10th edition: NIA.

Nia Ralinova is a singer and cellist whose music blends jazz, soul, R&B, and folk influences. In 2024 she released her debut single ‘111’, introducing her sound as both vocalist and instrumentalist.

She performs in a trio with pianist Anton de Bruin and bassist Marijn van de Ven, two active figures in the Dutch jazz scene. Both musicians contributed to trumpeter Peter Somuah’s internationally acclaimed album Letter to the Universe on ACT Music.

With this line-up, Nia presents original songs alongside reimagined material, balancing composition with improvisation. Her work highlights the dialogue between voice, cello, and the broader sound world of her band.
