Nu Art Orchestra

The Nu Art Orchestra is the new ensemble in residence at TivoliVredenburg. Led by Marike van Dijk, this forward-thinking big band presents adventurous, contemporary jazz, featuring a wide range of new compositions and arrangements. As part of their new artistic direction, the orchestra records a live album at TivoliVredenburg every year, and all musicians are commissioned to write new work. On the opening night of the Orange Jazz Days, they take to the main stage to present their debut album – a powerful and innovative program that enriches the Dutch jazz scene.
