On 21 September, Jazz-In 2026 brings musicians and emerging composers together at Muziekhuis Utrecht for an afternoon of exchange, inspiration, and practical knowledge.

Orange Jazz Days

Designed for artists who are performing or have performed at Orange Jazz Days in TivoliVredenburg, Jazz-In offers a focused look at the topics, opportunities, and developments that matter to jazz musicians today. It is also a chance to meet fellow musicians and connect with the people and organizations working across the Dutch jazz scene.

Jazz-In is invitation only. Participation is free of charge, with a small contribution requested for catering.

The program

The afternoon opens with the keynote ‘It takes a village 2026’ by researcher Dr. Loes Rusch. The program then moves into a series of speed meetings and practical sessions, covering topics such as labels, live performances, booking agents, music rights, making money from compositions, and fair pay.

Whether you want to get your music on a label, play more gigs, better understand your rights, or find new ways to build a sustainable career, Jazz-In is designed to help you take the next step. And just as importantly, Jazz-In brings the scene together.
