Orange Jazz Days 2026 completes lineup

The second edition of Orange Jazz Days returns to TivoliVredenburg, Utrecht, from 2–4 October, presenting a compact indoor festival dedicated entirely to Dutch jazz. Following a successful first edition, the festival continues to grow as a key platform for the Dutch jazz scene, highlighting both established names and emerging talent.

With the latest additions, the full programme for 2026 is now complete. Newly announced artists include Jamie Peet Quartet, Anton de Bruin, FLUX (Willem Abelen), Yoràn Vroom, Teus Nobel Quartet, Oscar Jan Hoogland, Sjoerd van Eijck Trio, North Sea String Quartet, Mink Jaspers Trio, Teddy Sicking, Ambush Party, Brigadera and Eupnea.

Each festival day presents a different perspective on contemporary Dutch jazz. Friday focuses on strong artistic signatures and intergenerational collaborations, Saturday showcases the stylistic breadth of the current scene. And Sunday highlights the next generation of jazz talent. This day is fully dedicated to emerging talent, with free showcase performances across multiple locations in Utrecht’s city center.
Highlights Orange Jazz Days 2026
Among the program highlights are new work by Eric Vloeimans with Hotspot, a special trio performance by Reinier Baas, Ben van Gelder, and Han Bennink, and a tribute to Piet Noordijk by Benjamin Herman featuring international guest soloists Irene Reig and Rachael Cohen. The festival also embraces adventurous and genre-crossing projects. In Club Nine, collective Space Is the Place curates a late-night program featuring Eupnea, Brigadera, and The Ambush Party, exploring the more experimental side of jazz and improvisation.
