International friends
In addition to our Dutch showcases lineup we have some international friends, presented by our valued partners Nuova Generazione Jazz en FIRA B!.
Festival presenters
Our presenters for the festival are: Amber Roner, Co de Kloet and Marieke Meischke.
Amber Roner is a freelance presenter and multimedia journalist for events, podcasts, TV and radio shows. Co de Kloet is the force behind inJazz Radio and works at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Marieke Meischke has over 25 years of experience in all fields of (jazz) music and works as a coach, songwriter, jury member and project manager.
Selection committee injazz showcases
The Dutch selection is the result from an open application to which 240 bands responded. A professional jury consisting of four programmers with diverse tastes and backgrounds made the choice with some difficulty: Marzio Scholten (Jazz International Rotterdam, RAUW), Jermaine Kanbier (Bimhuis), Maria Rylander (coordinator of the Knutpunkt network of 30 venues from Sweden) and Jaïr Tchong (KAAP in Ostend, Handelsbeurs in Ghent).
